AMSAR How to Join - New Members
First, read the volunteer info and requirements page.
Then send an email to the Membership co-ordinator including the following information:
- an outline of your current skills and related interests
- your location - state, town/city
- your contact phone number
- the best time/day to contact you
- your email address

You will receive a confirmation email so please double check your return email address.

- Download the MA application form if you do not hold a Recreational ($85.50) or Race Licence ($255.00).
Current MA Licence Holders do not require adittional Licences
This is a superior insurance coverage ($50M for Public Liability + Many other benefits).
- Download the AMSAR application form - AMSAR membership $70.00
- Read the terms of agreement and complete the application forms.
- Send both applications to AMSAR with your membership fee - AMSAR AU$70.00, (fee includes AMSAR T-Shirt and 2 AMSAR shoulder patches) to the address below.
- AMSAR will forward your Recreational Licence application with your payment on your behalf.
Please include seperate payment for Recreational Licence. A Recreational Licence costs $85.50 - if required, please make cheques payable to Motorcycling Queensland. Complete credit card details or enclose seperate cheque.
- The AMSAR secretary must sign the recreational licence form to validate your financial membership status - a little work initially, once done the renewal is very easy.
- Note: membership of external organisations is subject to approval from each independent organisation.
